About every FIRST FRIDAY of the month Filmtheater De Witt screens an English language film or a Dutch/foreign film with English subtitles. With pleasure we present this to our international fellow-citizens, but Dutchies are welcome too.
On the 6th of June it's the new Wes Anderson movie: The Phoenician Scheme.
The magnate Anatole "Zsa-Zsa" Korda (Benecio del Toro) is one of the richest men on the European continent. With his daughter Liesl, who found her calling as a nun, they take lessons from a certain Bjorn Lund. Together they run the family runs a family, but coincidentally they end up in the world of espionage. The family members are confronted with betrayal and face choices that lie in a moral gray area.
Cinema-owner Geert ter Steeg will introduce the film in English. After the screening there is an opportunity to have a drink and meet fellow-expats. That's why regular tickets have a drink included. Tickets can be booked online with the button Tijden & Tickets.
